The Harveys brewery dray horses visited a pub in Alciston at the weekend.
Staff from the Rose Cottage Inn in the village took these pictures of the visit on Sunday (April 19).
Customers came out of the pub to speak to the driver and see the horses.
Bar manager Victoria Ireland said: “The dray horses came to the pub yesterday.
“Horses are Monty and Winston and they had the Harveys dog Barney with them!
“They had been from Berwick then through Alfriston, along the A27, and then to us.”
The Rose Cottage Inn is in the heart of the South Down’s National Park.
The pub has been in the same family for more than 40 years.
It is renowned for its good traditional home-cooked food, including locally supplied meats, seasonal fish and game.
