Seaford Library closes

SEAFORD Library will close on Saturday January 28 and move to its temporary location while a new facility is built.

East Sussex County Council will soon start work on constructing the new £6m library and adult social care development at Warwick House in Sutton Park Road.

The service provided by Seaford’s current library will move to a temporary base at Elm Court in Blatchington Road, Seaford which will open on Monday February 20.

While the library is closed, people can use any other county council library and also renew books and materials online or by phone.

Opening times and contact details for the temporary library are : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.30am until 6pm, on Friday from 10.30am until 6pm and on Saturday from 9.30am until 5pm.

The address will be Elm Court, Blatchington Road, Seaford, East Sussex, BN25 2AD.
