Emergency services called to Lewes collision

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a road traffic collision in Lewes this morning (Monday, December 21).

One appliance from Newhaven was sent to the scene on Brooks Lane at 11:32am.

The incident involved two private vehicles, one vehicle was found to have reversed on to the second vehicle.

Crews cordoned off the scene and made the area safe. The incident was then handed over to the vehicle owners to await recovery.

Firefighters left the scene at 12:04.
