A proposed mixed use of housing, leisure and open space in the heart of Ringmer will be the subject of a public exhibition later this month.
Croudace Strategic Ltd has for many years been promoting development at Broyle Gate Farm.
It considers the site is the best located for additional housing and open space provision in Ringmer, located on the main road through the village and adjacent to the Community College.
Croudace is considering submitting planning application to Lewes District Council in the near future. Before this, in accordance with Croudace’s policy of seeking to engage with local communities), it is holding a Community Involvement Exercise.
This will include an exhibition providing information about the proposals, an opportunity to discuss the scheme with Croudace and its technical team, as well as a questionnaire to record the views of local people.
The Community Involvement Exercise will be held at Ringmer Community College between 3pm and 8pm on Thursday, July 31.
The outcome of the Community Involvement Exercise will be used to ‘shape’ the final proposals for the site. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Croudace will also be distributing a leaflet containing details about the event to houses in Ringmer and Broyleside. The company also hopes to be able to display posters on local noticeboards in the village. Croudace Strategic Ltd is part of the Croudace Group of Companies, a family-owned house builder based in Caterham, Surrey.
