Exciting plans announced for celebrating Tour of Britain in Seaford

A live broadcast of the Tour of Britain, free bike tune ups and organised rides will be taking place in the Salts in Seaford to celebrate the Tour of Britain cruising through Sussex.

Cycle Seahaven revealed some of its plans to engage visitors and residents with the sports event on Saturday September 13.

There will also be skills tests and obstacle course, kids’ bike train and funfair, as well as servicing demos, spin classes and an evening movie.

Cycle Seahaven chairman Andy Lock said: “Cycle Seahaven needs a few volunteers to help with basic bike maintenance or to hand out club leaflets.

“Please get in touch with andy.lock@cycleseahaven.org.uk if you can spare an hour or more.”

Seaford Town Council are also after help with marshalling or general duties.
