Exciting plays lined up for Arundel Jailhouse
THE Arundel Jailhouse is very proud to be one of the key venues for theatre and comedy at this year's Arundel Festival.
Arundel Jailhouse is best known for its cult tours of the historic cells situated underneath the Town Hall, such as "The Arundel Ghost Experience" which is now in it's 7th year.
This year, new owner Collin Baxter has branched out by adding some exciting plays to the venue's line-up, all of which have been given rave reviews in their preview performances.
"I thought it'd be nice to get a bit more laughter erupting from the place rather than the usual screams of terror!" explained Collin.
"After the festival press launch, the feedback we got about one of my actors, Nathaniel Tapley, was so positive" said Collin. "Everyone was in stitches and that felt so good to see, I'm looking forward to showing people all the other talent that we've got lined up!"
The Jailhouse will play host to:
'Visiting Mr Green' by Jeff Baron, 21/08 to 29/08 at 8.30 pm.
'In the Gloaming' by Nathaniel Tapley, 21/08 to 24/08 and 27/08 at 7pm.
'Angels in the dark' by Sue Casanove , 25/08,26/08 & 28/08,29/08 at 7pm.
