Farmers from the Lewes area questioned Environment Secretary Liz Truss MP when they met at a farm in Firle.

They spoke about issues affecting the rural economy such as TB rates, changes to farm payments and flooding along the Cuckmere. The minister, who was accompanied by Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Lewes, Maria Caulfield, was able to update local farmers on some of the measures being put in place.
