‘Transforme’ is the name of a series of diet and exercise classes which have just begun in Heathfield aned Crowborough.

They are being run by Fiona Vestentoft, founder and instructor at the Lotte Berk series of intensive ballet-based exercise sessions which take place in Dallington. Fiona said: “While Lotte Berk is still alive and well at the Dallington Studio I teamed up with Nicole Livingstone Smith who runs The Bowen Clinic to start Transforme. We are running a series of eight week courses which began last week - but there’s still time to join in. They comprise diet (the 5:2 diet,) a dancefit class together with nutrition advice, motivation and support - the key thing is that it is an all-inclusive approach. We support you every step of the way and give you tips to stay the course.”

Nicole said: “I want to make sure my clients are as well and healthy as possible by ironing out the musculo-skeletal creases that we sometimes inflict on our bodies. People who are active and keep their hearts fit and who exercise regularly are generally healthy and carry less weight.”

When Nicole and Fiona got together they hit on the idea of starting diet and exercise classes to help people to lose weight, gain a grounding in nutrition and understand techniques to get motivated.

After tests earlier this year clients reported a 6-12 lb weight loss in six weeks, many losing an inch and a half off their waist. Classes cost £15 each.
