A FIRE set a building alight at a rundown building in a derelict hospital site.
The incident happened in a 60m-by-30m building in Hellingly Hospital at The Drive, Hellingly, at 7.23am this morning, August 18.
Two breathing apparatus and two hose reels were used by firefighters who also used a water bower to keep a steady flow of water over the flames. Firefighters left the scene at 9.29am.
This morning’s incident follows another fire at the site last weekend. Some youths have been seen gathering there, according to police.
