Framfield open garden day raises money for charity

AN OPEN garden in Framfield raised more than £800 for charity.

Kathy Gore (High Sheriff of East Sussex and chair of Friends of East Sussex Hospices) and her husband Jack (former District Council chairman) opened the ten acres of Framfield Grange to the public on May 8.

People wandered through the bluebell woods, wild flower meadow and woodlands, enjoyed buying plants and teas.

The money will go towards the local chrities supported by the National Gardens Scheme and £350 towards Macmillan Cancer Care.
