A group of 53 business students from Lycee Libergier School in Reims, France visited Hastings and were met by Locate East Sussex Ambassador Brett McLean.
He took the group to the Town Hall where the party were greeted by Mayor Bruce Dowling.
Following a tour the students, accompanied by their teacher Alain Aitou, walked through Queens Arcade to view the location of the very first television broadcast by the late John Logie Baird.
The group were then greeted by the vice-principal of Sussex Coast College, Dan Shelley before visiting the Hastings Museum and Art Gallery in Bohemia Road.
To finish the day off the students enjoyed a traditional cream tea at Harcourt’s Tea House.
