Hailsham Choral Society to hold concert

The Hailsham Choral Society will hold its annual Autumn Concert at All Saints Church in Eastbourne on November 8 at 7.30pm.

The concert will feature music by Mozart, Bruckner and Haydn, as well as Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and Parry’s Blest Pair of Sirens.

The concert will be conducted by Josik Kotz.

Town Mayor Cllr Jo Bentley, said she is delighted to be attending the autumn show.

She said: “I’ve enjoyed coming to Hailsham Choral Society concerts for a number of years and the society has a tradition of appointing first-rate choristers, their concerts are always popular and this particular concert promises to be another superb evening of entertainment.

“The performance is guaranteed to delight the entire family and I encourage people to go along and enjoy it.”

Simon Marsden, the new chairman of the Hailsham Choral Society, said: “This will be an exciting concert with a wide variety of music from Handel to Bernstein.

“We are delighted that Nia Colemana and Ben Hancox-Lachman will be joining us as soloists.”

Tickets are priced at £12 and are available from The Camera Centre in Hailsham, via clientswegottickets.com and from members of the choir.

Tickets will also be available at the door.
