A DENTAL NURSE is getting her teeth into a fishing challenge in France to raise money for terminally or seriously ill children.

Sabrina Wood, aged 33, practice manager and dental nurse from The Dental Barn, in Upper Dicker, is setting off to France at the end of March to raise money for ‘Dreams Come True’ children’s charity.

Miss Wood is a member of ‘The Dream Team’ – a team of 16 carp anglers venturing across the Channel for a week to raise money and make the dreams of terminally or seriously ill children a reality.

Exactly 100 per cent of all the money raised goes towards the charity.

Miss Wood said: “I am the only woman this year to be chosen and hope that with this great team we can raise a huge amount of money for this amazing charity.”

Miss Wood has already raised more than £600 for the charity but is keen to reach her target of £1000.

Alison Thompson, owner of The Dental Barn where Miss Wood works, said she and other colleagues were supporting the dental nurse in her big fishing challenge.

Alison Thompson said: “We are all very proud of Sabrina and her charity work and to show our support we are donating £1 to the charity for every patient seen throughout the month of March.”
