TWO YOUNG children found themselves facing the strong arm of the law when they were ordered to re-paint a fence after they sprayed graffiti on it.
The nine-year-olds, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, sprayed wording on a fence in Hailsham.
Chief Inspector Richard Coates said: “They have admitted the offence following an investigation.
“The parents have said they will make the kids paint the fence as a community resolution.
“This is a great result as they are by law under the age of criminal responsibility.”
