A MOTORCYLIST from Hailsham suffered serious leg injuries after his motorcycle collided with a car.
The 31-year-old rider was travelling north on the A22 at East Hoathly around 9.25pm on Sunday, May 22.
His silver Triumph Daytona motorcycle collided with a Toyota Hilux.
An ambulance rushed to the scene and took the motorcyclist to Eastbourne District General Hospital.
The 30-year-old man from Eastbourne driving the car was shocked but not injured.
A 21-year-old woman driver from Tunbridge Wells was driving a Renault Clio near the collision. Police said she was shocked but not injured.
The road was completely blocked by the incident. It was closed until 1.30am to allow rescue and recovery work to take place.
