The Hailsham Branch of the Royal Air Force Association will be holding their next Band Concert, which will be performed by Wealden Brass at the Hailsham Pavilion on Sunday (June 23).
The concert will feature a wide range of brass band music including marches and tributes, as well as a performance of signature piece, Sussex by the Sea.
The concert will feature performances to mark the 70th Anniversary of the World War II raid on German dams, including The Dambusters March. All funds raised will go to the RAF Association’s Wing’s Appeal, a fundraising project set up to provide welfare support for World War Two veterans through to today’s serving RAF and their families. Hailsham Town Mayor Cllr Jo Bentley, who is attending the event, urged members of the public to support the RAF Association by going along on the night. The performance commences at 3pm. Tickets are priced at £6 each or £3 for children under 16. Book early. Call 01323 841414 for tickets.
