Right on cue for spring, a series of free healthy walks are being launched in Lewes. The first takes place on May 3 (10-11am), setting off from The Needlemakers, West Street.
Walks will then be held on every first and third Friday of the month, with all ages and abilities welcome to take part. They are free and last no longer than an hour. There is no need to book, just turn up. The walks are organised by conservation charity The Conservation Volunteers, and are part of the national Walking for Health scheme.
