THE girls wore spots, stripes, silks, satin and lace. The boys were resplendent in their very best evening wear.
They arrived in classic cars, jalopies, stretch limos, buses and sleek sports models.
A group of lads even hired a New York Police Department vehicle for the evening complete with flashing lights.
Everyone who attended the Heathfield Community College prom held in the school hall - specially decorated for the evening - did their school proud.
The sophisticated youngsters had a ball (literally) and appeared quite cool and calm in spite of photographer’s flashbulbs.
Last week’s prom launched them on the next stage of their lives - in superb style.
