Herstmonceux records highest temperature

SUNNY WEATHER brought smiles across the Lewes and District region yesterday, March 12.

The highest temperature recorded in the country by the Met Office was a warm 18.1C in Herstmonceux. This compared to the lowest - a chilly 6.6C in Waddington.

A mist and some low level cloud has brought a fresher start to the day in Herstmonceux this morning, March 13.

The rest of the week varies between low level and medium cloud for the parish – with sunny intervals tomorrow but light rain this Saturday, March 17.
