South Street Bonfire Society will be hosting an illustrated talk by Tom Reeves at Lewes Town Hall next Friday (October 11).
He will be showing historic slides of Lewes from the magnificent Edward Reeves Photographers archive.
Tickets are priced at £8 and are available from 159 High Street, or by calling 01273 479059.
Refreshments will be available, and there will be the opportunity to purchase prints. Doors open at 7pm and the event gets under way at 7.30pm.
Tom is the great-grandson of Edward Reeves, who established the photographic business in 1858.
South Street Bonfire Society is currently celebrating its centenary year.
A special brochure featuring many photographs and information from the SSBS archives will also be available at the event, priced at £4.
