St Michael’s Hospice has been shortlisted for the Lloyds Bank Community Fund 2014 in Hastings.
By encouraging the public to vote, the hospice has a chance of being awarded a grant of up to £3,000 from Lloyds Bank, helping to enable it to continue doing good work in the community. The hospice is heavily dependent on the generosity of local individuals, companies, groups and trusts.
Darren Penfold, trust and corporate fundraiser at St Michael’s Hospice, said: “The Lloyds Bank Community Fund will make a huge difference to the hospice. All donations help us to build the necessary income needed to continue providing high quality palliative care services to the people throughout Hastings and Rother at the time when they need it most. Please vote for St Michael’s Hospice to benefit from the Community Fund award.”
The fund was set up to help local people to have a positive impact at the heart of their community by giving grants to up to 1,400 local good causes in 350 communities.
You can find out more about the fund and hospice, and cast your vote, by visiting the Lloyds Bank Community Fund website at www.lloydsbank.com/communityfund. Voting for the 2014 Community Fund is open until Friday, October 10.
