A nine-year-old girl has raised more than £100 for charity after swimming 32 lengths of Summerfields pool in just 35 minutes.
On August 17, Isabelle Compagnone undertook the swimming feat on behalf of Team Clarko to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), raising a total of £130.
Isabelle’s mother, Louise Compagnone, also undertook the Three Peaks Challenge in August as part of Team Clarko.
The team is spearheaded by Lucie Playford who organised the climbing challenge in memory of her brother Jamie Clarke who died of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome in 2009 aged 31.
Team Clarko has been busy raising money to rent a screening unit in Hastings for a day, which will be able to screen some 100 people for undetected heart problems.
