THE DIAMOND Jubilee in Seaford will be marked with a procession from the Salts Recreation Ground to the Martello Fields in the Esplanade from 11am on Monday June 4.
Live music, arena displays and face painting, as well as tug of war and a laser show will feature at the event.
The day will also include a climbing wall, rides and stalls, according to organisers Seaford Town Council.
The celebration hit the headlines earlier this year when the town council controversially decided to spend £10,000 on the jubilee celebrations.
A large chunk of that budget will go on buying commemorative mugs for all the primary school children in Seaford.
A beacon will be lit to mark the 60th year of the Queen’s reign. Parties will be held across Sussex to mark the historic occasion.
