Waterloo Bonfire Society will be repeating its highly successful free music event ‘The Night Before’ at The Paddock in Lewes on Saturday, June 29.
The evening will showcase the talents of three leading local bands. Rubylux released their new single in the UK ‘The World goes Quiet’ on May 12 which is the title track off the album which is due for release on Monday, June 17, on Luxury-B Records.
Annaca Espach will be releasing her new EP ‘Haunted’ which she has been writing with producer Jim Lowe (Stereophonics) on June 24 and from which the title track single has already been played on BBC Radio 2.
Rabbit Foot complete the line-up and will be well known to regulars of The Lamb, in Fisher Street, Lewes.
This acclaimed blues duo have recently released their latest EP ‘Swamp Boogie’.
Entrance to the music event is free from 5pm, with a licensed bar and a variety of food on offer. The music starts at 6pm.
The following day, June 30, Waterloo will be staging its traditional annual fete in The Paddock. Gates open at 12noon when the society;’s Scottish Pipe and Drum Band, made up entirely of members, lead the traditional parade from headquarters at The Lamb to the fete site.
Attractions include a licensed bar, a barbecue and a wide variety of stalls.
There will be a mix of games and competitions for all ages and, with traditional funfair rides and arena events, there will be no shortage of entertainment on offer.
