A summer exhibition of students’ work is taking place at St Andrews Place Art School in Lewes this weekend, June 21 and 22 (11am-5pm).
It is the first such event since the school’s launch more than three years ago, and the exciting show displays a wealth of talent and creativity.
It features printmaking, portrait painting, drawing, clay sculpture, garden design and life drawing. Some of the students’ work will be for sale at reasonable prices.
The art classes are held in a charming Victorian house at 1 St Andrews Place which has a large light-filled studio.
The tutors will all be on hand throughout the weekend, and there will be a chance to chat to them and sign up for autumn classes.
