Part of a car park and public toilet facility in Lewes will close for the day later this month.
Lewes District Council will be closing part of the Friars Walk car park on Sunday, May 22 in order to allow for the crane at the new Premier Inn hotel site to be dismantled and removed safely.
In addition, the public toilets in Friars Walk will be closed for the day due to their proximity to the work area needed for the safe removal of the crane.
The council will be making temporary alternative toilet facilities available, and these will be positioned in the part of the car park at Friars Walk that is closed off.
Lewes District Council apologise for any disruption this temporary closure of part of the Friars Walk Car park may cause.
