Lewes Grandad on the run for a good cause

ONE man and his dog have been preparing to accomplish a big mission.

Lewes grandad Paul Barker has been training with his pet Pebbles in preparation for the Brighton Marathon on April 10.

The pair have been running to Ditchling Beacon and back from their home in Caburn Crescent several times a week.

Paul is taking part to raise funds for the Perthes Association, a charity to help children with the rare bone condition osteochondritis. His grandson Nathan was diagnosed with the illness when he was three years old.
