Lewes MP Norman Baker gives the next East Blatchington Lecture, on Tuesday, April 2 at St Peter’s Church in Belgrave Road, Seaford at 2.30pm.
The Transport Minister will talk about his life as an MP, transport matters and answer questions.
Music may come up too as Norman recently released the album Always Tomorrow with his band The Reform Club.
He lists The Beatles and The Kinks among his first influences, and says that music and singing is “what I do when I’m not doing politics”.
He also has a two-hour show on Peacehaven Radio which goes out on Saturday nights between 9pm and 11pm, when he plays mostly jazz and blues.
The lecture series is open to all. Tickets are £5, including refreshments, from Stephen Newberry Estate Agents in Seaford, or on the door.
