PIDDINGHOE is planning its own Jubilee celebrations for Sunday June 3 featuring music, games and a hog roast.
All are welcome to Piddinghoe Unplugged from 12 noon to 5pm, which will include traditional games, a musical workshop, village procession, treasure hunt and jubilee tea.
There will be no charge but contact Noel West on 07766 661066 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to come.
The hog roast begins at 7pm, with a Sussex pig, bread baps, apple sauce, sage and apple sauce, sage and apple stuffing, mustard and a choice of four homemade salads.
Hog roast tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children.
You can bring your own sweets or puddings, chairs and tables.
Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available from the Royal Oak Survivors.
There will be music at the event too. Visitors can feel free to bring their 45s, 33s, ipods and mp3s and music maestros will do their best to play them for you.
Strata, Piddinghoe’s very own rock band, will close the day. Expect big hits played with gusto.
The event will be held at the marquee on the Hoe. For tickets call Noel West or check out the event on Facebook.
