£10,000 reward for missing man

A REWARD of £10,000 has been offered by a family of a missing man who suffers autism.

Piers Hopson, aged 35 and from Southwater Road, St Leonards, went missing on January 25.

That day he went for a walk at 2.30pm but he did not return.

Police said he travelled from St Leonards Warrior Square station to Ore at 3.50pm that afternoon.

Mr Hopson was seen reading a newspaper on the platform.

The autism sufferer finds it difficult to talk with members of the public due to his health condition.

Police are investigating possible sightings in Hailsham, Heathfield, Eastbourne, Hastings and Tunbridge Well.

Detective Inspector Rob Morland has said police are 'very concerned' for his wellbeing.

Mr Hopson likes walking and uses local bus networks.

If you find Mr Hopson and he is unwell, phone 999 immediately to request police and ambulance attendance.

If he is safe and well, contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999, quoting serial 1721 January 25.
