Police recovered 200 cannabis plants, among other drugs, when they executed a warrant at a house in St Mary’s Mead, Buxted, on Friday (January 31).

The drugs included amphetamine and pills, thought to be ecstacy pills, altogether with a street value of about £100,000.

A man, aged 30, from Brentwood and a woman, 25, from Epping, were arrested at the house on possession of cannabis and class A drugs and abstracting electicity.

They have been bailed for further enquiries until April 25.
