40 letters sent to speed drivers
SOME 40 letters have been sent out to drivers seen speeding in Wealden District – following the efforts of community speed watch volunteers.
Wealden Police said the letters were ‘better than a ticket’, and thanked the community speed watch volunteers based around villages in the region.
Wealden Police said: “Thanks for your time and effort in the ongoing priority of reducing casualties.”
