A27 open again after fire

TRAFFIC on the A27 is running smoothly following a partial road closure this morning.

This morning the westbound lane of the A27 was closed between the Ashcombe Roundabout and Falmer, after a van caught fire near the Newmarket Inn.

The road was closed from 9.40am to around 11am.
