A27 Wilmington closed - 3 vehicle collision

THE A27 WAS SHUT in both directions after a serious three-vehicle collision in Wilmington this morning, February 6.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after the collision on the Lewes Road at Wilmington crossroads near Polegate at 10.50am.

The A27 westbound with the junction of the A22 was closed for between two to three hours by police.

Diversions were put in place and drivers were asked to avoid the area if possible.
