Stormy weather.

A weather warning has been issued for East Sussex after a forecast of heavy rain and wind tomorrow (Monday December 23).

The Met Office has released an amber warning for the county because heavy rain could cause some flooding.

Winds could gust up to 70mph.

The Highways Agency is urging drivers to check the weather forecast before travelling.

Southern Railway said due to expected disruption it was accepting advanced tickets for Monday December 23 today (Sunday December 23).

Southern said its train services could be subject to delays and cancellation because high winds will require the operator to reduce operating speed to 50mph.
