Amberley biker hurt in crash
A BIKER from Amberley was injured when he was involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi Shogun.
The crash happened on the A283 at Angel Street, Petworth on Wednesday evening. The Mitsubishi was towing a trailer at the time.
The 19-year-old, who was riding a red Yamaha Fazer, received concussion and facial injuries and was taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester.
The driver of the Shogun, a 68-year-old man from Petworth, received minor cuts to his face, but did not require hospital treatment.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, which happened a few minutes before 7pm, to contact 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1514 of August 25.
