Voluntary organisations and charities in Hailsham are being urged to submit their applications to Hailsham Town Council for next year’s Community Grants scheme as the deadline approaches.
Grant application forms are still available for non-profit organisations, registered charities or other agencies in Hailsham, which intend to request project funding for new or improved facilities, activities or projects from Hailsham Town Council’s grants budget.
Cllr Chriss Triandafyllou, Chairman of the Finance and Budget Oversight Committee, said: “The town council is committed to providing small-scale financial support to local voluntary groups and organisations to help them make a significant difference to the success of worthwhile community projects, and considers each application fairly and openly.
“We welcome applications from the voluntary sector in Hailsham. Applying for a grant is simple to do and I hope that other groups will be encouraged to do so this year and in the future.”
Application forms are available to download on the Hailsham Town Council website at www.hailsham-tc.gov.uk or by writing to the Town Clerk, Hailsham Town Council, Inglenook, Market Street, Hailsham, BN27 2AE.
The deadline for grant aid applications (2014/2015) is the end of December 2013.
All grant applications will be considered by the town council’s Finance and Budget Oversight Committee in January 2014 and notification of the decision on your application will be released next spring.
The council said funding will be determined solely from the written submission, and no in-person presentations will be held.
