Attempted murder suspects stopped by armed police
TWO men wanted on suspicion of attempted murder were stopped by armed police at Polegate crossroads on Saturday, February 6.
Both men, aged 21 and 25, from Liverpool were wanted by Merseysude Police.
Their black Ford Focus was stopped by armed police at the crossroads at 3.41pm.
Officers on the ground had tracked the car. ANPR cameras and the Sussex
Police helicopter Hotel 900 were also used.
A man and women who were also in the car were detained by police but then released without charge.
Merseyside police collected the arrested men on Sunday morning.
