Author's new chapter
AN AWARD-winning writer is celebrating the publication of her first book.
Words from a Glass Bubble is a collection of short stories by Vanessa Gebbie from Norlington Court in Ringmer.
Vanessa, who is also a teacher and the creator of an on-line web magazine for people battling drug and alcohol problems, has won more than 30 prizes in recent years for her short stories including a second prize at the prestigious Bridport Literary Festival.
She said: 'My stories are eclectic and wide-ranging, both in setting and subject.
'I try to let my characters tell their own stories without interfering too much.'
Words from a Glass Bubble is published by Salt Publishing.
