Visitors to Alfriston Clergy House this August Bank Holiday Monday can enjoy a fun afternoon of traditional stalls and activities in celebration of the Alfriston Village Festival.
The event, held on the August 26, starts at 12 noon with costumed tours of the house, a second hand book stall and a children’s corner which includes brass rubbing and shield painting.
There will also be corn dolly demonstrations in the house. Entry to the Clergy House will be free all day.
The Clergy House festivities run alongside the Alfriston Village Fete which is held on the Tye green in front of the Clergy House during the afternoon.
