Beddingham landfill future

WHEN the landfill dump in Beddingham was full up with rubbish, the Sussex Express went to visit and ask what the future holds for the site.

Viridor, which manages the tip, officially closed it on Saturday, May 16.

It has been used for landfill since 1975 and in recent years has taken around 250,000 tonnes of rubbish each year.
