Busy road closed due to mud

A ROAD closure is still causing traffic problems in and out of Lewes near Earwig Corner.

A section of the B2192 is closed following an accident earlier this afternoon when a driver appeared to lose control the mud-covered road.

Highways workers are still trying to make the road safe and a diversion is in place directing traffic through Ringmer.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
