Car set alight in Nevill Road, Uckfield on Tuesday night
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a Ford Fiesta was deliberately set alight in Nevill Road, Uckfield in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The car was gutted by the blaze which happened at 12.15am on September 11.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended and put out the fire. Another car parked nearby suffered slight damage.
A suspect who was seen near the car is described as male, aged between 25 and 30, 6’, of athletic build and wearing a dark hoodie and jeans.
Detective Constable Richard Holder said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious around that time. Call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 0019 of 11/9.”
