Car smashes into crash barrier on A27
EMERGENCY crews were called to the Southerham roundabout this afternoon (Saturday October 31) after a car collided with a crash barrier.
The incident happened at 1:30pm this afternoon on the Southerham roundabout on the A27 close to Lewes.
A car had collided with the crash barrier and the driver had become trapped.
Firecrews worked to free the driver and the road is now closed westbound.
