Chailey woman celebrates 100th birthday
A CHAILEY centenarian celebrated her 100th birthday with a visit from the Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex, Peter Field.
Helen Shelford, celebrated the landmark on March 11, and a message from the Queen was hand-delivered by the county's Lord Lieutenant Peter Field.
Mrs Shelford is the widow of Mr C. W. ("Corny") Shelford, High Sheriff of East Sussex in 1954.
