Chairman of Lewes Wanderers Cycling Club climbs out of the saddle to make some music

There are two big enthusiasms in the life of Chris Martin, the Chairman of Lewes Wanderers Cycling Club.
When he is not pedalling along the highways and byways of Sussex he is something of a musician.
Chris has just released a new album on iTunes. He has also been making videos for YouTube to promote his songs.
He filmed his latest effort on the streets of Eastbourne a couple of weeks ago and it can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMaD1lMC81k
Chris currently has six videos up on YouTube and three albums on iTunes.
He is currently working on an exciting video project, featuring puppets made by a fellow Wanderer.
The video will use one of Chris’s songs and tells the story of a homeless man he knew who died on the streets of Brighton.
Chris said: “My stuff is quite intense and not mainstream pop!
“I’m rehearsing for a bit of acoustic live work and doing everything I can to promote my music.”
Elsewhere, well-known Seaford songstress, musician and choir leader Jane Reeves is broadening her horizons with a new Archway choir. The popular contemporary Choir is now in Lewes and meets on Thursday evenings. No audition is required to join – just a love of music and fun.
