Chance to see housing plans in Hailsham
A CHANCE to look at plans for house and flat building in Wealden District can be seen from 10am until 1pm in Diplocks Community Hall, Diplocks Way in Hailsham on Saturday February 4.
Wealden District Council is consulting on the location and form of strategic development sites as part of the Wealden Core Strategy.
This will determine development in the district for the period until 2030. The six week first stage public consultation began on January 16 and ends February 24. This is the first stage of public consultation and the opinion of residents will be taken into account.Options are presented about building plans for each strategic development area. The public can also give their own ideas.
There will be another opportunity to look at the plans from 11am until 1pm and 5pm until 7pm at Hailsham Town Council offices this Tuesday, February 7. See the plans also on the ‘strategic sites consultation page’ at www.wealden.gov.uk.
Hellingly Parish Council will discuss the plans at 7.30pm this Wednesday, February 8.
