Changing the King’s Head

PLANNING consent has been sought to change a neglected public house in Lower Horsebridge.

Wealden District Council has received an official application for the Kings Head on the A271.

Applicant Hugh Weaver, of Hempstead Lane in Hailsham, wants to convert the ground floor of the two storey former coach house for a function room.

The first floor of the building will become guest accommodation if Wealden planners give the go-ahead.
