Bookworms are set for a thrilling time when a bestselling novelist gives a talk in Hailsham.

Author Peter James will be giving a talk, answering questions and signing copies of his latest book Dead Man’s Time when he goes to the Hailsham Pavilion.

Mr James is one of the UK’s most treasured crime and thriller novelists.

His Roy Grace detective novels have sold more than five million in the UK and thirteen million worldwide in total, with the series translated into 36 languages.

His most recent Roy Grace novels, Dead Like You, Dead Man’s Grip and Not Dead Yet went straight into the Sunday Times bestseller lists at no 1 in both hardback and paperback.

Mr James is also an established film producer and script writer. TV adaptation of the Roy Grace series is currently in development, with Peter overseeing all aspects, including the scriptwriting.

The novelist’s books will be available to buy on the night, but there are no card or cheque facilities so any books purchased will need to be paid for in cash

Tickets are on sale for the event from the Hailsham Pavilion box Office priced £8.

Mr James will be in Hailsham for one night only on June 18 at 7.30pm.
