DJ namesakes to get free Newhaven breakfast
IF YOU share your name with BBC1 radio presenters Chris Moyles or Nick Grimshaw you could be in line for a free breakfast in Newhaven.
To mark the end of Chris Moyles’ run as presenter of BBC Radio 1’s iconic The Chris Moyles Show and to celebrate the new host of The Radio 1 Breakfast Show Nick Grimshaw, the team at the Drove Brewers Fayre is offering a free breakfast to anyone lucky enough to share their name with either of the two.
A constant fixture on our radios for the past eight and a half years, Moyles, who raised £2.4million in 2011 when he co-hosted the longest radio broadcast in history, is moving on to tour the country as King Herod in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s latest musical, Jesus Christ Superstar.
Grimshaw, who hosts the late-night slot, will be switching to mornings later this month.
Emma Price, spokeswoman for Brewers Fayre, said: “Chris Moyles is arguably the most successful breakfast radio presenter in history, and we’re all big fans of him here at Brewers Fayre.
“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate this passing of the torch than by encouraging as many Chris Moyles and Nick Grimshaws to come and join us for the most important meal of the day.”
